Shillong: Arrival and an exciting sightseeing
You will be greeted by an agent's representative upon your arrival at Guwahati airport, who will drive you to the Shillong hotel. Check in to get through the jet lag at the airport. Now, as included in your tour itinerary for North East India, it is time for some magnificent sightseeing. Umiam Lake: Umiam Lake is also named Barapani (big water), which is a stunning artificial reservoir. The nearby lush green meadows and undulating hills boost its beauty. Don Bosco Monument: This largest Asian cultural museum is home to 17 galleries of international quality, which exhibit objects such as artifacts and paintings. You will get a sneak peek into the life of North East India by visiting this museum. Ward's Lake: This artificial water source is also known as Pollock's Lake, and is picturesque and horse-shoe shaped, where you can enjoy boating. Wrapped in a green greenhouse, the lake has a wooden bridge that offers you the opportunity to experience stunning views of the lake. Lady Hydari Park: This neatly manicured garden, decorated with lovely flowers, is a spectacular spot to explore. Its beauty is enhanced by a zoo and a water attraction. Cherrapunjee: A trip to exotic expanses
Set off for today's happy Cherrapunji walk. Greet you in the morning with a nice meal and a hotel check-out. You will be brought to Shillong's wonders of nature, accompanied by a move to Cherrapunji, where nature's artworks await you. Shillong Peak: Better experienced in the morning, this attraction provides a stunning panoramic view of Shillong, its waterfalls, and the plains of Bangladesh. It is strongly recommended to trek up to this semicircular mountain. Elephant Falls: These waterfalls are christened according to an adjacent elephant-shaped rock: a perfect weekend getaway and Shillong's favorite picnic place. Nohkalikai Falls: India's fourth tallest and largest waterfall in the country, flowing near Cherrapunji and providing a glimpse of Bangladesh. The flow has built a waterhole in winters and summers that turns blue and orange, respectively. Seven Sister Falls: India's fourth largest waterfall, Cherrapunji's seven-segmented waterfall. Hence the word. Don't skip seeing the sunset from here. Mawsmai Caves: These Cherrapunji limestone caves are home to stalactites and stalagmites. The interior of these caves is adequately illuminated to enable you appreciate the art of nature. Arwah Cave: Some reasonably scaled stalactites and stalagmites are housed in the cave, and some million-year-old fossils, mostly molluscs and insects. - Booking amount has to be paid upfront for us to confirm your package.
- Full flight amount (if flights included) and any non-refundable hotel amount has to be paid within 3 days of booking.
- Balance payment (if any) needs to be completed 30 days prior to travel or once everything needs to be confirmed (whichever is earlier)
- For travel in less than 30 days from booking, complete payment must be received within 24 hours of booking.
- You can pay using net banking, NEFT, IMPS, RTGS or deposit cash Rs 1,99,000/- in adherence to Income Tax ACT.
- We reserve the right to cancel your trip without notice after due date. Any cancellation costs will be borne by you.
- If the above-mentioned payment terms are not followed, we will not be held responsible for any change made in the package itinerary due to non-availability of flights, Hotels, Ferry etc.
- There might be an increase in total package cost offered at the time of bookings in case the payments are not received by us as per the terms mentioned and the extra cost need to be borne by the guest.
